AAON understands the importance of equipping our reps with the most modern and up-to-date resources so they can successfully sell AAON. Both New Rep Training and Masters of HVAC: Remastered were created to provide reps with the tools, software, resources, and other essential curriculum to learn, spec, and sell AAON products. AAON’s New Rep Training is a pre-requisite and must be completed before enrolling for Masters of HVAC: Remastered.

AAON New Rep Training equips sales representatives with the foundational knowledge to better prepare them to spec and sell AAON products. This week-long course is held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the curriculum includes many topics from ECat and other software tutorials, facility tours, review of product lines and applications, and other valuable tools to help our reps succeed. AAON reps are also provided with the opportunity to connect with their Regional Sales Manager.

Whether you’re brand new to the industry or have been selling HVAC for years, all are welcome to learn more about HVAC basics and AAON’s premium solutions. New Rep Training is a pre-requisite and must be completed before enrolling in AAON Masters of HVAC.

MastersofHVAC

Masters of HVAC: Remastered is available to all AAON sales representatives and is recognized as one of the most advanced HVAC training programs in the industry. Beginning in 2027, Masters of HVAC: Remastered will be led by Kevin Teakell, AAON Fellow and 30-year AAON veteran. Kevin spent 22 of those years leading all engineering functions for AAON's Applied Products, overseeing everything from product design and market analysis to field troubleshooting across our large commercial air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, and custom equipment. He designed the RZ/LZ series and holds a U.S. patent for the use of a desuperheater in an evaporative condenser air conditioner. His industry leadership spans over 50 AHRI committees and several ASHRAE initiatives, including a voting seat on the ASHRAE 90.1 Mechanical Subcommittee.

The curriculum covers core topics, including Airside, Refrigeration, Systems, Equipment, and Energy Efficiency design. Classes are offered once a year, April through September, and all participants must complete New Rep Training before enrolling.
