What training does AAON offer?

AAON offers classroom and hands-on training programs to a wide range of skill levels and experience — from start-up technicians to sales engineers.

 

AAON New Rep Training  

New Rep Training is a week-long course held on our campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma that equips sales representatives with the foundational knowledge to better prepare them to spec and sell AAON products. Reps will receive facility tours and learn a wide range of topics from AAON’s product lines and applications, to special features and equipment. New Rep Training is a pre-requisite and must be completed before enrolling in AAON Masters of HVAC.

AAON Masters of HVAC: Remastered 

Building a Foundation for Top Performing Sales Representatives 

AAON Masters of HVAC: Remastered is offered to all AAON sales representatives and is widely considered one of the most advanced HVAC training programs available today. Led by Kevin Teakell, AAON Fellow and 30-year AAON veteran, this custom-tailored program equips AAON sales reps with the technical depth and industry knowledge needed to operate, optimize, and sell AAON HVAC equipment at the highest level.

The curriculum covers core topics, including Airside, Refrigeration, Systems, Equipment, and Energy Efficiency design. Classes are offered once a year, April through September, and all participants must complete New Rep Training before enrolling.

AAON Technical Academy


Training today's Technicians for Tomorrow's Challenges 

AAON Technical Academy is the premier training program for educating service technicians on AAON HVAC equipment, controls, applications, and more.

This course offers content created specifically geared toward real-life situations that technicians may experience when installing, servicing, and maintaining AAON equipment. The Technical Academy allows technicians to work on a variety of AAON equipment in a controlled environment, with simulators that create real-world scenarios, to test their ability to think and adapt through the troubleshooting process.
