What is the parts warranty on my AAON unit?

To determine the specific warranty details for your unit, please contact your local AAON representative with the unit's serial number. Unit-specific warranty certificates are available once the unit has been paid for.

Standard Warranty Coverage:

  • Parts Warranty: Most AAON equipment includes a 12-month parts warranty from the date of installation, or 18 months from the date of shipment, whichever comes first.
  • Compressor Warranty: Packaged units include a 5-year compressor warranty as standard. An optional 5-year compressor warranty is available for split systems.
  • Gas Heat Exchanger Warranty:
    • Aluminized steel heat exchangers: 10-year warranty.
    • Stainless steel heat exchangers: 25-year warranty.
  • E-Coated Coils: 5-year warranty with required cleaning and maintenance. Please refer to the unit's Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual for guidelines.
  • Economizer Damper Assembly with Fault Detection and Diagnostics: 5-year warranty.

Extended Warranty Options:

Additional warranties or extended coverage may be available for specific models, options, or jobs. For more information on these extended warranties, please contact your local AAON representative.
