LL Series

AAON LL Series Chillers and Packaged Outdoor Mechanical Rooms are engineered to be energy efficient, easily serviceable and to reduce field installation time. Standard construction for the LL Series is sound attenuating double wall rigid polyurethane foam insulated panel construction with walk-in compressor, control and water system service vestibules. Features and options available on the LL Series include factory installed boilers and factory designed and integrated chiller and boiler water system pumping packages.

| Construction |

Double wall rigid polyurethane foam insulated cabinet construction has a thermal resistance of R-13 or greater, provides structural integrity and attenuates radiated sound. |

Lighted, walk-in vestibule allows maximum accessibility for service and maintenance of compressors, controls and water system. Control vestibule can be independently heated and/or cooled for comfort while periodic maintenance is performed on the unit. |

Hinged access doors are provided in areas subject to scheduled maintenance. Walk-in doors are constructed with stainless steel piano hinges, perimeter gaskets and zinc cast lockable handles. Doors operate from a single point and open from the outside of the cabinet. |

Designed for outdoor operation, the LL Series includes corrosion resistant exterior polyurethane paint which exceeds a 2,500 hour salt-spray test. |

Scroll compressors are installed on structural decks and rubber isolation mounted for quiet and efficient operation. |

Shell and tube evaporators are factory installed and insulated. |

Polymer e-coated air-cooled condenser coils can be specified to extend the life of the coils and protect them in corrosive environments. |

| Pumping Packages |

Pump and water piping systems can be factory installed in the LL Series. This saves valuable interior building space by eliminating pumps in the indoor mechanical room. |

LL Series units are available with factory designed and integrated primary or primary/secondary pumping with either constant or variable flow. |

All pumping packages include a factory installed in-line air separator, strainer, pump and combination valve (isolation, check, and flow balancing) in the water system. Victaulic piping and fittings are furnished as standard throughout. |

The LL Series can include dualArm and redundant pumps for system standby and parallel pumping systems. |

Magnetic bearing R-134a Turbocor centrifugal compressor option provides load matching cooling capabilities, with quiet energy efficient operation, and the oil free design is highly reliable. |

Factory installed AAON evaporative-cooled condenser, with air-cooled de-superheater and variable frequency drive controlled fans, can be 20-40% more energy efficient than a comparable air-cooled condenser, can use 22-100% less water than a conventional evaporative-cooled condenser, and require 22%- 100% less chemical usage than a conventional evaporative-cooled condenser. |

Interior of evaporative-cooled condenser is constructed of 304 stainless steel and other non-corrosive materials. De-superheater coils include polymer e-coating for corrosion protection. |

Boilers are a minimum 88% thermal efficient. |

Boiler combustion fan comes equipped with a replaceable combustion air filter which is 99% efficient to one micron. |
